Event: Tech Industry Night 2022
Date: 4th August 2022
Location: Monash University Clayton
Hosted by the Mechatronics Engineering Clayton Club (MECC) and the Society of Monash Electrical Engineers (SMEE), Tech Industry Night brings students from electrical, mechatronics and similar technical disciplines together to connect with organisations in related fields.
Â
At Extel Technologies we believe in creating a better future, and last night at the annual Tech Industry Night we had the opportunity to talk with the next generation of Australian engineers about the inner workings of our organisation, our industry and the wide range of pathways available at Extel as they progress in their careers.
Â
To start the night, students were able to ask all of their most pressing questions. From inquiries about day-to-day operations to learning about what a career with Extel would look like. We truly enjoyed discussing our field of work, evolving technologies and providing them with one-on-one career guidance. Though perhaps most rewarding was discussing our vision for the future, some of the life-changing products we have developed for customers and instilling the confidence in the graduates to see they are the next generation of experts behind such significant change.
Â
The Tech Industry Night was a fantastic evening full of thought-provoking discussions with an incredible group of graduates. We are thrilled by the high amount of interest from the graduates to undertake work experience opportunities and careers at Extel and we look forward to progressing those discussions with each of them.
Â
Thank you to the Mechatronics Engineering Clayton Club (MECC) and the Society of Monash Electrical Engineers (SMEE) for hosting us, we look forward to next year and what the future will bring.
